Georgia is a graduate of the Institute of Architecture and Urbanism Ion Mincu, Bucharest, where she received a MArch (Hons) in Architecture, followed by a MSc in Sustainable Heritage at The Bartlett / UCL. She is a RIBA Conservation Architect and an Ex- Guardian of the SPAB.

Georgia runs her own practice, Georgia von Esco Ltd., specialising in conservation architecture and interior design in Listed or in Conservation Area Buildings, with the aim of enhancing their significance, usage and value. Passionate about traditional building techniques and craftsmanship and their continuous relevance in the present, she advocates for a better cross-collaboration between the fields of Conservation and New Traditional Building. Supporting the common core values of building and preserving Beautiful Places, she endorses the Traditional New Built environment’s increased usage of highly skilled craftsmen trained in the Heritage field, also as a means of perpetuating the heritage crafts.
