Quinlan Terry Architects have specialised in classical and traditional design for over 50 years. During this time, they have established a reputation for high quality, carefully detailed buildings which meet the client’s needs. At the heart of the office is a sound understanding of the classical tradition and how it remains relevant in creating beautiful and sustainable buildings.
The office works on a wide range of projects from large country houses and commercial projects to churches and conservation repairs. We have an excellent record of achieving planning permissions in difficult and often controversial locations including NPPF Paragraph 80e houses.
The office has built up a detailed understanding of construction and traditional building materials and works closely with builders and consultants throughout a project to deliver the full range of architectural services.
Each project is a unique challenge and working closely with the client to understand their needs and aspirations is an essential part of a successful building which is comfortable in its surroundings and looks as if it has always been there.
